Portugal

Here in Portugal for Christmas 2022 and into the New Year. I know these images and the feel of the countryside will make their way into the subconscious shapes and colours in work to come. I have been remiss in writing on the blog and one of the resolutions for 2023 is to journal more and make sense of the process of my paintings/creative musings. I have been somewhat lost recently after a slew of work and the beginning of the year. Now is the time to take note of where I want to go next. Often I have to remember just because I am not painting doesn’t mean I am not getting ready for the next inspiration. I’ve learned to relax, or at least I am learning to. We shall see how this develops. Ideas are ripening.
